Where to begin?

I have always loved jewelry. I have become obsessed with making jewelry. I wake up and grab my pliers and don't do much else. Is this healthy you might be asking....It is for me. I truly get peace and happiness out of every minute I get to spend creating new pieces. The thrill of finding new gadgets and unique findings(today its in a VCR someone dumped on the corner). I opened the smashed up VCR with the movie 8 mile stuck inside and got so excited by the wheels that spin and all the tiny pieces that served a purpose for our pleasure. Last week it was a piano dumped in front of a junkyard/fleamarket that had been stripped of its ivory keys. I love putting together something beautiful from other peoples trash. We live in what i call disposable America. We buy new phones and computers that come with a 2 year warranty and usually die 2 years and 1 week later. Things are not built to last which brings me to my next obsession and thats Vintage jewelry. I love it! I get giddy like a little girl and will spend hours just polishing it. I have an etsy store called The Vintage Advantages that I try to sell my things on but so far i have not sold a thing....kinda sad but i dont mind and it wont stop me from doing what i was meant to do. So i am told that more people will see my creations if i start a blog. I am hoping to find some helpful advice or opinions from someone, anyone, good or bad. I hope to make some friends who share this same obsession. I will post some photos and hope to hear something. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Cheers, Jay Lee
